Function
The purpose of this group is to promote for the public benefit interest in and knowledge of dermatological surgery.
We aim to -
-
Promote and carry out or assist in promoting and carrying out research, surveys and investigations and publish the useful results thereof.

Collect and disseminate information on all matters affecting the said objects and exchange such information with other bodies having similar objects whether in this country or overseas.

Bring together in conference representatives of voluntary organisations, government departments, statutory authorities and individuals.

Provide a focus for dermatological surgery post-graduate education by offering both basic and advanced workshops.
Meetings
The Executive Committee meets three times per year, on the third Thursday in November and March and in July at the time of the British Association of Dermatologists Annual Meeting.
The BSDS run several meetings and courses throughout the year. For more details visit the BSDS Website
Membership
Membership of the Society is open to physicians, surgeons and nurses with an interest in Dermatological Surgery. Applications for membership must be approved by the BSDS Executive Committee. For more details on membership categories and how to apply please visit the BSDS Website.
