The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) would like to support research in the form of a travel bursary. Following a successful first round of awards for 2021, we would like to open a second round of applications for this year, offering 4 awards of up to £400.
The bursary would be best suited for any BAD or BDNG member who is interested in research (clinical or non-clinical) who wish to present or to learn specific skills related to their research at any national or international conference. Applicants should be working in a recognised clinical or non-clinical training environment.
Up to 4 awards will be available, up to a sum of £400. If you wish to apply, please send the following to the BAD Research team (email@example.com):
1. An application form
2. A cover letter explaining what meeting you wish to attend (300 words), what you plan to present and how attending the meeting will benefit you and your research.
3. An estimate of associated costs (up to £400 maximum)
4. Your submitted abstract if relevant (in draft or final form)
5. Your CV (no more than 2 sides of A4)
Please note applications will close on 28th February 2022. You will also be informed the outcome of your application by 14th March 2022.
