Deaneries and LETBs
Deaneries are now called LETBs (Local Education and Training Boards) and are managed by Health Education England:
Deaneries continue to exist in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Further information about Deaneries and LETBs can be found on the BMA website:
Trainees out of area on-call
Guidance has been developed and agreed by the BAD Education Board and the Dermatology SAC to address the issues around Trainee out of area on-call service provision.  This is needed for both clinical and educational governance. It is important that all dermatology consultants and trainees within the training programme are not only aware of the agreed process but implement it uniformly.
