This educational course is aimed at dermatology trainees and consultants and covers all aspects of photodermatology.  The basics of photobiology and photophysics, the photosensitivity diseases, investigation and management will be thoroughly covered.  Phototherapeutics, photodynamic therapy and lasers are also included in detail.  This clinically focussed course covers photodermatology curriculum requirements and those of a consultant dermatologist.  A wide range of speakers with expertise across all areas of photodermatology will participate in the programme.

The DermPath Made Easy event will be held as a virtual meeting on Thursday 24 September 2020. Registration now open.


This 1-day course aims to provide an overview and introduction to dermatopathology for new dermatology registrars and those who do not have access to regular histopathology teaching. 

 

The course will give a grounding in the basics of clinicopathological interpretation, giving registrars a structure on which to hang their learning from local MDTs and CPC meetings. It may also be suitable for Core Medical Trainees hoping to start their dermatology training within the next year.

The lectures will be delivered by both dermatologists and dermatopathologists.
