Summary

This workshop is aimed at consultant dermatologists who have no prior experience of journal peer review.

CED welcomes consultant dermatologists or anyone who would like to review for us. We are offering a hands-on practical course to help you understand the concepts of peer review, why you should peer review and importantly work in small groups with some of our more experienced co-editors of CED using examples from the journal. We hope that this will be a useful course for you.

The objective of this course is to give:

- an insight into peer review process within academic journals,

- gain an understanding of peer review models and systems

- practical experience of reviewing
