This educational course is designed to cover the basic science and clinical application of photodermatology, phototherapy, photodynamic therapy and lasers, and in particular, covers the photodermatology knowledge-based requirements of the UK Specialty training curriculum for trainee dermatologists. It is also aimed at early career consultant dermatologists, allied health care professionals and scientists with an interest in photodermatology and all wanting to know more about light and skin. The basics of photobiology and photophysics, the photosensitivity diseases, investigation and management will be thoroughly covered.

Virtual National Induction Course - Survival Guide for New Dermatology Trainees

The event will be run as a virtual course, with live Question and Answer sessions with the speakers.

The course has been designed by Dr Piu Banerjee to introduce newly appointed trainees to basic dermatology. This is a national dermatology induction course. A range of essential dermatological topics and demonstrations will be presented by senior dermatology trainees and consultants.

There will be some places for LAS and clinical fellows in dermatology.
