BSID Clinical Translational Day

 The BSID are pleased to extend an invitation for interested clinicians to attend the BSID Annual Meeting under a day delegate rate on Monday 27th April for the 2015 BSID Clinical Translational Day.

Attendees of the Clinical Translational Day will gain access to the meeting’s scientific programme for the day including the THESIS session in the morning and the Skin Club Symposium in the afternoon. Eczema will be the subject of a recent advances talk and also mentioned as an early concept for UKTREND collaborative research.

The focus for the skin club will be on the role of microbes in maintaining normal immune responses and their role in mediating inflammatory skin disease such as eczema and psoriasis, featuring eminent speakers: Professor Yasmine Belkaid (USA),Dr Jeremy Webb (UK) and Professor Harri Alenius (Finland).

The day’s scientific programme will be complemented by a poster presentation for which abstract submissions are currently being considered.

Accepted poster presentation abstracts will be published in the online edition of the CED
