Course information:
Anyone can do a patch test. Few do it well. Fewer still can properly interpret patch tests. To determine the clinical relevance of a positive patch test depends on a blend of knowledge and experience known as clinical judgement. (A. Kligman)
We have brought together recognised European and US-authorities from the world of contact dermatitis to deliver current knowledge on new allergens and emerging problems from the perspective of consumer and occupational exposures. This goes beyond the ‘baseline’ allergens. This masterclass will provide participants with information necessary for enhanced investigation of their patients; it will improve their confidence in giving appropriate advice to their patients with contact allergy.
This is a high-level course intended for those clinicians who already have experience in cutaneous allergy and wish to be current in the ‘art’ and science of reading the language of the skin.
