A-Z Patient Information Leaflets (PILs)

Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) prepared by the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD). These are also available in PDF format for downloading and printing. Includes the "How to..." series, intended to explain certain treatments and what happens when particular treatments take place.

Please note that we endeavour to update our PILs every 3 years, however, whenever new evidence is presented the respective leaflets will be revised as deemed necessary.

As part of our continued quality improvement programme and Department of Health requirement, the BAD has formed a Patient Information Lay Review Panel and has started the process of evaluating our PILs. Leaflets which have NOT yet been reviewed by the lay panel, and subsequently accepted by the Therapy & Guidelines sub-committee, are marked with the symbol .
