Dermatology Teachers

Membership & Aims: The Dermatology Teachers group was formed in 2006. Membership is open to anyone teaching or assessing (examining) undergraduate dermatology.
The Dermatology Teachers aim to: · Maintain standards of undergraduate dermatology learning, teaching and assessment. · Develop and promote undergraduate dermatology curricula and strengthen the learning, teaching and assessment of dermatology in undergraduate medical curricula and medical assessments (examinations). · Share ideas and resources. · Advise the Education Subcommittee of the British Association of Dermatologists on aspects of undergraduate learning, teaching and assessment. · Develop a website for teachers and assessors of undergraduate dermatology. · Hold a meeting each year at the annual meeting of the BAD. · Communicate and support Dermatology Teachers electronically and through the BAD newsletter.
Meetings: The Dermatology Teachers meet each year at the annual meeting of the BAD and at other times as required. Meetings are open to anyone directly involved in the teaching or assessment of undergraduate dermatology.
