Healthy Skin for All – A Commissioners Guide – 9th October 2008 (London)
Following on from the “Making a Case for Dermatology” meeting and with the imminent publication of the CC2H commissioning guidance, the BAD Clinical Services Unit (CSU) has organised a meeting for members and their commissioners.
In the current climate of ‘Care Closer to Home’ and ‘Teams without Walls’ it is more important than ever that commissioners are aware of the essentials of a high quality, safe and sustainable service. Consequently, the BAD Clinical Advisory Unit is holding a one day seminar on this topic. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn more about dermatology as a service, the GPwSI accreditation processes, the commissioning guidance and the resource implications affecting commissioners when trying to deliver a safe, cost effective, high quality service.
The BAD invites members to attend this day with their lead commissioners for dermatology.
This event has been designed for: • PCT Commissioning Managers • Practice Based Commissioning Leads • PBC Consortia Leads • Hospital Business Development Teams • Consultant Dermatologists
There will be a charge of £50 for each commissioner to cover administration expenses. View booking details here or email Sheela@BAD.org.uk for further information.
