e-learning for dermatology

e-dermatology is an online learning resource which focuses on the diagnosis and management of common dermatological disorders. Although, the resource is designed for dermatology trainees, the sessions are wide-ranging and vary in complexity. e-dermatology is thus also available, free of charge, to all clinicians working in the NHS and all members of the British Dermatological Nursing Group (BDNG) in the UK.

It has been developed by the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) in partnership with e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH). Learning is based on the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board curriculum for specialist training in dermatology (www.jrcptb.org.uk). Interactive and engaging sessions covering wide areas of the curriculum are provided. There are two sessions focusing on the Specialty Certificate Examination and e-dermatology in general is a highly relevant revision resource for those preparing for this.

Sessions are around 20 minutes in length. Your progress will automatically be saved, so you do not necessarily need to complete a session in a single sitting.

A support website http://support.e-lfh.org.uk also explains in details how to register and how to access the e-sessions.
