The 8th Dermatology Updates Meeting, Val d’Isere will be held from Monday 28th to Thurs 31st of January 2019 in the Centre de Congrès, Val d’Isere. Held in parallel with speciality meetings in anaesthesia and intensive care, orthopaedic surgery, radiology, plastic surgery and general practice, this festival of medicine has obtained consistently positive feedback from delegates since inception. Offering unique opportunities for multi-disciplinary learning, the programme includes dermatology-specific material, as well as plenary sessions of broader medical appeal. Speakers for this year include Dr Kevin Fong, consultant anaesthetist  and expert in space medicine, Dr Fiona Godlee, editor of the BMJ, and Sir Terence Stephenson, former Chair of the GMC.

This long established CME approved 4 day course (previous course awarded 25 credits) provides an excellent opportunity for consultants with a good basic knowledge of paediatric dermatological to update their knowledge base.

 It is also suitable for specialist registrars towards the end of their training, particularly if they wish to develop a special interest in paediatric dermatology and genodermatoses. The lecturers from the UK and Eire are all specialists in paediatric dermatology and they are available to discuss short topics in depth.  There are only 24 places available, so early booking is advised.
