DermSchool is a FREE one day meeting aimed at medical students and Foundation Year doctors interested in
a career in Dermatology. CMT doctors are also welcome to attend.
The day will feature a mixture of lectures from experts in the dermatology field alongside the opportunity to gain
some hands on experience within the Practical Session, as well as all important careers advice.
All in all it is an event not to be missed!

Please note that although this very popular meeting is free to attend, places are strictly limited (fill up very quickly)
Interested delegates must preregister in order to attend as no onsite registration will be available.
Places cannot be reserved in lieu of a registration form
Bursary applications (if applicable) must be applied for via the online registration system at the time of applying for a place at the meeting. Please see below for further details regarding bursray applications.
Booking your place:
To start the application process for a place at DermSchool, please fill in the online application form here
Once completed, you will need to please send in a cheque or postal order for £30.00 made payable to "British Association of Dermatologists". This then acts as your "refundable deposit" for your place at the meeting.
This amount will later be refunded to you when you attend the meeting. Postal orders can be obtained from your local Post Office. (Click here for further information on obtaining Postal Orders).
Whichever option you use, please note that your deposit payment must be in GBP Sterling and drawn on a UK bank.
Once we receive your deposit here in the Conference Office, we will then send you formal confirmation of your place alongside abstract submission details.
Please note that your place is at DermSchool is not confirmed until you receive the formal comfirmation email with accompanying abstract submission details.
UK based Medical students and FY doctors can apply for a bursary to assist them in attending DermSchool. Trainees more senior than FY2 level will not be eligible for a bursary Applications can only be made via the online registration form.
Bursaries are to assist with the costs for travel and accommodation and will only be available to those travelling from more than 20 miles from the conference venue in Edinburgh. Please have to hand your estimated costs when registering for the meeting,as these are required to fill in your bursary application.
If you intend to apply for a bursary to assist your attendance, please also ensure you provide the name and email address for your Placement Director/Educational Supervisor/Dean. This is as we will need to contact them to verify your education level and eligibility for a bursary as part of the application process.
Only once verified your application will then be put forward for consideration by the committee and you notified of the outcome in due course.
Registered delegates will receive details regarding abstract submissions for consideration for the meeting’s poster presentation session, once they have secured their place at the meeting.
Prizes will be awarded at the meeting for the best poster presentations
