Advertising, Commercial Partnerships & Sponsorship Opportunities

The BAD is always looking for ways in which we can do more to achieve our charitable objectives and increase the value of our work. One of the ways in which we can do this is through support from commercial sponsors or partners. Our most common sponsorship opportunities relate to events and exhibitions, our educational offerings, and awareness campaigns. 

These partnerships allow us to deliver better events, courses, and digital learning opportunities. They also enable us to fund bursaries, fellowships, and other educational opportunities for healthcare professionals.

While it is important that these partnerships are mutually beneficial, all potential partners must meet our sponsorship standards to be considered and the sponsorship must support our aims, values, and charitable objectives. We will not identify or endorse services or products as a condition of sponsorship. 

Our audience

The BAD represents around 2,800 members across the UK and internationally. These include healthcare professionals at all stages of their careers; in training, on the specialist register for dermatology, or with a special interest in dermatology.

We run a diverse array of events throughout the year, online and in-person, attended by thousands of healthcare professionals, including more than 1,600 delegates at our Annual Meeting in the summer.

Our flagship journal, the British Journal of Dermatology, is the third highest-ranked dermatology journal in the world, read by people with an interest in dermatology around the globe. 

Partnership and advertising opportunities

Through our wide range of events, educational resources and digital platforms, including our e-learning platform, there are plenty of opportunities for companies to work with the BAD and to support British dermatology. 

Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are available for many of our in-person and virtual events, enabling corporate sponsors to target specific audiences.

We accept educational sponsorship for our online learning platform, including specific e-learning modules, and for bursaries, fellowships, and other funding awards.

Advertising opportunities are available through the British Journal of Dermatology, Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, and Skin Health and Disease. It is also possible to advertise in our quarterly digital membership newsletter, which goes out to all members.

We are also willing to discuss bespoke corporate partnerships relating to communications, patient engagement, research and more. If there is a specific area that you would like to explore with us, then we are always happy to discuss this with you.
